Description

The CD-i was Philips' attempt at the multimedia appliance market during the 90s, much like what Commodore did in the States with their CDTV.

Unfortunately for both Commodore and Philips, the expected market for multimedia appliances simply didn't appear.

Philips even created the Compact Disc standard known as the Green Book specifically for CD-i titles.
