L'Académie d'Excellence (The Academy of Excellence) is based in Paris. As well as French students, it has been known to have students from Belgium, Switzerland, French-speaking Africa, and there have been a few from Quebec in Canada as well.

Claremont Academy in Freedom City was rebuilt by Duncan Summers (the original Raven) after the Second Terminus Invasion. Claremont is the largest super-school in the Americas.

What isn't common knowledge about it is that hidden somewhere underground is a ritual room, containing the true history of the Vervain family, of which Seven of the Freedom League is a descendant. It also contains the truth behind Lucius Cabot, an occultist who has been actively hunting the Vervain family over the centuries, and the means to kill him for good.

Hourai High is located on Utsuhojima, an island to the south of Japan. The school is the main reason anyone has heard of the island. And it's the only Japanese school that's willing to teach superhuman children.

Which suits the people of Japan just fine. Japanese culture tends to focus on conformity, discipline and politeness. And most superhuman children find it hard to deal with one or all three of those. Hourai High is often the first place where they can actually find friendly peers.

All clubs, committees and councils are student-run. All the staff and club advisors are adults.

The school clubs have their own unique twists. For example, it would normally be considered a lack of loyalty in most Japanese schools to join more than one club at a time. At Hourai, it takes trying to join more than three clubs before people start saying that you have a problem.

Japanese supers usually prefer to congregate with their own kind when they can help it, and the more unusual school clubs reflect this. For example, magical girls usually hang out with other magical girls, martial artists like to spar with other martial artists, etc.

Misao and Emi Watanabe, the two most well-known adventurers in Japan are alumni of Hourai. In 1996, Misao and Emi were caught up in multiple unusual incidents, which culminated in stopping the Subterra Society's conspiracy from taking over the school - and with it, the entire island.

Lionheart Academy was recently founded in Great Britain and has managed to strike a student exchange deal with Claremont.

Shadow Academy: Taurus founded the Shadow Academy to be sure that he would have reliable superhuman talent. You pretty much need ties to the Labyrinth or one of their various dummies or fronts just to hear of the place.
There are those who, while children, either gain powers or have a natural talent that gives them a major advantage. These schools are set up for them to develop and make use of these abilities.
